AngelGrace Technologies, LLC (“AngelGrace Technologies,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected when you use the TheirLight mobile application (“TheirLight” or the “App”) and related services.

TheirLight is designed to help individuals and families preserve memorial information, memories, Prayer Cards, life stories, and other meaningful information about people and pets.

1. Information You Provide

When you use TheirLight, you may provide information including:

Account Information. Your email address and authentication information used to create and access your TheirLight account.

Memorial Information. Information you choose to enter about people or pets, which may include names, dates of birth and death, relationships, cemetery information, biographical information, life stories, favorite things, sayings, scripture, notes, and other memorial details.

Memorial Card Images and Information. Images of the front and reverse of memorial cards that you choose to photograph or import, along with information extracted from or associated with those cards.

Prayer Cards. Prayer or reflection card images and information that you choose to save in TheirLight.

Family Connections and Keepsake Information. Information you choose to use when creating family connections, memorial keepsakes, or other personalized content.

Shared Memorial Information. If you choose to share access to a memorial with another TheirLight user, information necessary to provide that access may be processed and stored.

You control the information that you choose to add to TheirLight.

2. How We Use Information

We use information collected through TheirLight to create and maintain your account; store, display, synchronize, and restore memorial information; provide App features; allow you to create, edit, preserve, and organize memorials and Prayer Cards; provide sharing, calendar, reminder, notification, keepsake, family connection, cemetery-search, and song-related functionality; maintain security and reliability; respond to support requests; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use memorial content to advertise products to you.

3. Cloud Storage and Firebase

TheirLight uses services provided by Google Firebase to support account authentication, cloud synchronization, database storage, and image storage.

Depending on the feature being used, information may be processed through services including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage for Firebase.

Google states that Firebase services use security measures including encryption in transit and that services including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage encrypt data at rest. Firebase services may process information in locations where Google or its service providers maintain infrastructure.

Firebase may also process certain technical information necessary to provide and secure its services, such as IP addresses, user-agent information, application identifiers, and operational information.

4. Photos and Camera Access

TheirLight may request access to your device's camera or photo library when you choose to photograph or import a memorial card, Prayer Card, or other supported image.

TheirLight accesses photos only when you initiate a feature that requires them and subject to the permissions provided through your device.

Images that you choose to save as supported cloud-backed TheirLight content may be uploaded to cloud storage so that they can be restored or synchronized with your account.

TheirLight does not provide a general-purpose photo gallery in the current version of the App.

5. Cemetery Search and Apple Map Services

TheirLight may use Apple MapKit or related Apple mapping services when you choose to search for a cemetery or cemetery address.

Search text and other information necessary to perform the cemetery search may be processed by Apple according to Apple's applicable terms and privacy practices.

Cemetery and mapping information may be incomplete or inaccurate. You may review or edit cemetery information before saving it in TheirLight.

6. Their Song and Apple Music

TheirLight may use Apple Music or MusicKit services when you choose to search for and associate a song with a memorial.

Information necessary to perform a music search and obtain song information may be processed through Apple services according to Apple's applicable terms and privacy practices.

TheirLight may store song-related metadata associated with a memorial, such as a catalog identifier, song title, artist, artwork reference, or Apple Music link, as needed to provide the feature.

7. Notifications

TheirLight may request permission to send notifications for features such as Daily Reflections, birthdays, death anniversaries, and other remembrance reminders.

Notifications are optional. You may manage notification permissions through TheirLight where available and through the notification settings on your Apple device.

Apple controls how notification banners and alerts are presented on your device.

8. Purchases and 30-Day Trial

TheirLight may offer a 30-day full-function trial followed by an optional one-time purchase to continue accessing the App.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. AngelGrace Technologies does not receive or store your complete payment-card information.

TheirLight may use Apple StoreKit transaction and entitlement information to determine trial status, verify a purchase, restore a previous purchase, and determine whether continued access to the App has been unlocked.

There is no recurring TheirLight subscription associated with the current one-time purchase model.

9. Sharing

TheirLight allows you to share access to certain memorials with other TheirLight users.

When you choose to share a memorial, the recipient may be able to view information contained in that memorial according to the sharing functionality provided by the App.

You should share memorial information only with people you trust and only when you have the right to share that information.

10. Information We Do Not Sell

AngelGrace Technologies does not sell your personal information.

TheirLight does not use third-party advertising networks to serve advertisements within the App.

We do not sell memorial information, memorial-card images, Prayer Cards, or other personal memorial content to advertisers or data brokers.

11. Service Providers

We may use third-party service providers when necessary to operate TheirLight.

These may include Google Firebase for authentication, database services, cloud synchronization, and supported image storage, and Apple for App Store distribution, purchases, StoreKit services, notifications, MapKit/mapping functionality, Apple Music/MusicKit functionality, and other Apple platform functionality used by the App.

These providers process information according to their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Firebase describes Google as generally operating as a data processor or service provider for customer data processed through Firebase services.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information associated with TheirLight.

TheirLight uses authenticated accounts and access controls intended to restrict access to account data. Cloud data access is further controlled through applicable database and storage security rules.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Data Retention

Information associated with your TheirLight account may remain stored while your account remains active so that the App can provide cloud synchronization, restoration, and other functionality.

The expiration of a TheirLight trial does not automatically delete your account or saved cloud information. This allows you to purchase TheirLight later and regain access to supported saved information.

Signing out of TheirLight or deleting the App from your device does not by itself delete your TheirLight account or cloud-stored information.

14. Account and Data Deletion

TheirLight provides a Delete My Account function within the App.

Deleting your TheirLight account is different from signing out or deleting the App from your device.

When you complete the account-deletion process, TheirLight is designed to delete the associated account and supported cloud-stored data under AngelGrace Technologies' control, subject to information that may need to be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction-record, or other lawful purposes.

Information previously shared with or independently retained by another person may not necessarily be removed from that person's independent records or devices.

Deleting a TheirLight account does not cancel, reverse, or refund an App Store purchase. App Store purchases and refunds are administered by Apple.

15. Children's Privacy

TheirLight is intended for users age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13.

If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

16. Information About Other People

TheirLight allows users to preserve information about other people, including deceased individuals and family members.

You are responsible for the information and images you choose to add or share and for ensuring that you have an appropriate right or basis to use that information.

Please use care when entering information about living individuals and avoid entering sensitive information that is unnecessary for the memorial purpose.

17. International Processing

Some service providers used by TheirLight operate infrastructure in multiple locations. Information may therefore be processed or stored outside your state, province, or country.

Firebase states that Firebase Authentication is processed in U.S. data centers, while various other Firebase services may operate on Google's global infrastructure depending on service configuration.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as TheirLight evolves, our practices change, or legal requirements change.

When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this policy. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or other appropriate means when required.
